The LANDMARK team participated actively to the Pedometrics 2017 Conference during the last week of June 2017, in Wageningen, The Netherlands.

  • Prof Rachel Creamer (WUR) and Nicolas Saby (INRA) are inside the Scientific Committee of the conference.
  • Dr Adam Csorba  postdoc at SZIU,  gave an oral presentation on “Applying the diagnostic approach for the definition of soil functions – a pilot example on carbon sequestration and storage” . This is part of WP2 work within LANDMARK. abstract available here
  • Stevanche Nikoloski PhD student at JSI-MPS and TEAGASC Walsh Fellow gave an oral presentation on “Prediction of mineralizable nitrogen (N) in soils using ensembles of regression models“. This is also linked to WP3 work within LANDMARK. Abstract available here.
  • Worth to mention the poster on “Mapping Soil Properties for achieving Soil Functions” from Dr Iolanda Simo, former TEAGASC researcher.
