Curriculum vitae :

Christian Barneoud has 28 years of experience as a pedologist. He has a Master degree in pedology (University of Nancy, 1985) and a university degree on “soil and wine” (University of Burgundy, 2004). In 2011, he was certified as a pedologist by the AFES (Association Française pour l’Étude du Sol = French Association for soil studies). Since 1986, he has been coordinating the “agronomy-pedology-environment” network (GRAPE) in the regions Franche-Comté and Burgundy.

Key tasks in LANDMARK

  • strong involvement in WP 01 (stakeholders’ needs)
  • strong involvement in the tasks “soil management toolkit” and “on-farm evaluation” within WP 05
  • back up scientists by field practice: involvement in WP 03 (feasibility of indicators proposed by the researchers, of the sampling protocol, field constraints to be taken into account, etc.), as well as in WP 04 and 05 (feasibility of the proposed policy framework and of monitoring schemes for soil functions)
