Soil scientist, he has more than 13 years of working experience on biogeochemical cycles in the agro-ecosystems carried out in national and international research institutions. In 2012, he joined the European Commission-Joint Research Centre to develop modelling tools predicting quantitative effect of different mitigation measures on soil organic carbon in agricultural soils. He has been involved in several projects: FIRBideas- CASTANEA; CLIBIO- EU Investment Bank; 7FP – EuroChar and CArbon PREservation and SEquestration in agricultural soils – CAPRESE project (customer DG AGRI)
