Key tasks in LANDMARK

  • The JSI team will play an important role in WP3 and WP5 Pillar 1 of LANDMARK, where it will contribute to understanding soil functions by using decision support, machine learning and data mining to relate soil properties (as well as land use/ management practices) and soil functions. It will help in identifying indicators of overall soil function as well as different individual aspects thereof.
  • The JSI team will also contribute to WP2.
  • Finally, the JSI team will be completely in charge in development of the soil navigator web-based system that will integrate all DEX models and enable simultaneous optimization of all soil functions.
